Occupational Therapist (OT) – Inpatient / Acute Care
Location

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | Tuesday through Saturday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
Provide occupational therapy evaluation and treatment to inpatient adult and geriatric populations, including orthopedic, neurological, medical, and pulmonary diagnoses
Float between inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings as needed
Participate in early mobility programs, including ventilator early mobility (Level 2)
Deliver hand therapy services as a significant component of the caseload
Document patient care using Cerner EMR
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary therapy team including PTs, STs, COTAs, and therapy aides
Required Qualifications
Active California Occupational Therapist (OTR) license
Current BLS certification
Experience in an inpatient or acute care setting
Proficiency or ability to learn Cerner EMR
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with stroke rehabilitation (JCAHO-certified Stroke Program environment)
Familiarity with total joint protocols (elective hips and knees)
Experience treating patients on ventilators or in ICU settings
Hand therapy experience
