Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients within a skilled nursing facility setting
• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary therapy team to support patient rehabilitation goals
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs

Required Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of New Mexico or eligibility to obtain
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Current NBCOT certification
• Experience working in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) environment
• Familiarity with Medicare documentation and compliance requirements
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills within a team-based care model
