Contract | Travel | Days (6:45 AM – 2:30 PM) | 13 Weeks
Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to NICU patients within a 21-bed unit
- Manage an OT caseload with patients expected to be seen 3–5 times per week
- Collaborate alongside a Speech Therapist (ST) within the NICU setting (one OT and one ST on unit)
- Document patient care and progress using the MEDHOST EMR system
- Adhere to unit-specific protocols; no floating, no call, and no block scheduling required
Required Qualifications
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure in the State of Texas
- BLS certification through AHA or ARC
- Minimum 2 years of experience with a concentration in NICU
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a high-acuity neonatal care environment
- Familiarity with MEDHOST or similar hospital EMR platforms
- Strong ability to manage and prioritize a multi-patient caseload effectively
