Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days – Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and re-evaluate assigned patients in both inpatient and acute rehab settings
- Plan and implement ongoing occupational therapy treatment programs as prescribed by the ordering physician
- Regularly update treatment plans and home exercise programs, and independently manage a full caseload
- Apply knowledge of insurance authorization requirements to determine appropriate timing of re-evaluations
- Document patient care using EMR systems, including Net Health Therapy and Meditech
- Work Hawaii State and Federal holidays as necessary based on facility operational needs
Required Qualifications
- Active Hawaii State Occupational Therapist license required by start of assignment
- BLS certification from the American Red Cross required
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience with adult populations in outpatient and acute care settings
- Proficiency with EMR platforms, specifically Net Health Therapy and Meditech
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in inpatient rehabilitation and acute rehab environments
- Familiarity with insurance authorization processes and documentation requirements
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage a full patient caseload
