Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy evaluations and treatments to patients in accordance with physician orders and care plans
- Develop and implement individualized treatment programs to improve patients' functional abilities and independence
- Document patient progress, goals, and outcomes in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated and effective patient care
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs
Required Qualifications
- Active California Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in good standing
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy or Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current NBCOT certification
- Minimum 35-hour weekly availability across a flexible 7-day schedule (Sunday–Saturday)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior contract or travel therapy experience
- Strong documentation and electronic health record (EHR) skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments and patient populations
