    Contract | Travel | Days (5x8) | 36 Hours Weekly Guaranteed | 13-Week Assignment | Projected Start: 07/13/2026

    Key Responsibilities
    • Accurately evaluate patients' functional status and relevant medical and psychosocial factors, and establish appropriate treatment plans with measurable goals
    • Implement treatment programs safely, utilizing a variety of treatment skills and specific treatment modalities, and modify approaches as appropriate to patient response
    • Perform patient documentation and communicate with other departments in a manner that meets all quality improvement requirements, including notes, conferences, and charge entries via EPIC EMR
    • Provide patient and family education in a clear and concise manner throughout the care continuum and at discharge
    • Serve as a resource person, assist with orientation of new staff, and act as a clinical instructor for students as needed
    • Participate in quality improvement and program evaluation activities, and assist with departmental or special projects as needed
    Required Qualifications
    • Current, valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    • Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience
    • Proficiency with EPIC EMR
    • Ability to work under limited supervision and make rational, logical clinical decisions based on physician consultation, lab results, and patient assessment
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience working with medical patient populations
    • Experience identifying, developing, or updating therapy programs including policy and procedure development and staff training
