Contract | Days | 5x8s, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM | Weekends expected approximately 1–2 times per month | Holidays as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy evaluation and treatment services within a hospital-based acute inpatient care setting
• Document patient care and progress using Epic electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient recovery and discharge planning
• Adapt to facility staffing needs, including weekend coverage as expected
• Participate in holiday coverage as needed per facility requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina Occupational Therapist License or Multistate Compact License required at start of contract
• BLS certification required
• NBCOT certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care setting
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
• Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel therapy experience in an acute inpatient environment
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health records charting
• Ability to adapt to changing facility needs and float within scope as required
