Key Responsibilities
Assess patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs to develop individualized treatment plans
Implement therapeutic activities and interventions to help patients improve, recover, or maintain daily living and working skills
Recommend and train patients on the use of assistive devices and adaptive equipment
Modify and adapt environments to support patient independence and safety
Provide education and guidance to patients and their families throughout the rehabilitation process
Monitor and document patient progress toward established goals
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of occupational therapy experience
Active Texas OT license or compact state license recognized in Texas
Ability to work within a long-term care setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility environment
Experience creating personalized care plans aligned with meaningful patient goals
