    Key Responsibilities
    • Select and perform evaluation and treatment methods appropriate to the patient's age, diagnosis, symptoms, and physician orders; document per chart and review standards.
    • Orient patients, families, and other appropriate parties to the purpose and procedures of therapy evaluation and treatment; provide patient and family education and support.
    • Coordinate treatment schedules across disciplines using appropriate scheduling procedures.
    • Perform pain assessments and take appropriate action according to standard operating procedures.
    • Participate with the interdisciplinary team in developing and accurately documenting discharge plans; identify significant changes in patient condition and take appropriate action.
    • Provide clinical supervision to Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs) in a collaborative manner following state licensure and care delivery standards.
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum of 2 years of occupational therapy experience required; inpatient and/or outpatient experience required.
    • Active North Dakota State Board of Occupational Therapy licensure required prior to start date.
    • National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT – OTR/L) required prior to start date.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association required prior to start date.
    • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required prior to start date.
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience working in both inpatient and outpatient therapy settings.
    • Demonstrated ability to monitor program effectiveness and contribute to the development of new therapy programs.
