    Job Title

    Occupational Therapist – Hand Therapist

    Location

    Pennsylvania | Outpatient

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Days | 32–40 hours per week | 12 weeks

    Key Responsibilities
    • Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction
    • Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines
    • Design functional treatment programs that support effective return to community activities and progress patients toward discharge within an established length of stay
    • Delegate and direct all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients
    • Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers; participate in student programs as assigned with appropriate supervision and evaluation
    • Adhere to the discipline-specific State Practice Act, maintain professional licensure in good standing, and uphold professional codes of conduct
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Occupational Therapist licensure in good standing
    • Hand therapy experience required; no new graduates will be considered
    • Outpatient experience required
    • Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential preferred or demonstrated hand therapy clinical experience
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) designation
    • Experience with letters of medical necessity and insurance authorization documentation
    • Involvement in continuing education, professional organizations, or clinical mentorship of students
