    Key Responsibilities
    • Screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders and develop appropriate plans of care following regulatory and clinical practice standards
    • Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive and assistive devices
    • Assess patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly; evaluate treatment outcomes for effectiveness and make referrals as appropriate
    • Document all required clinical and regulatory information in the electronic documentation system and accurately record treatment minutes
    • Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to physical and cognitive disorders
    • Supervise and support occupational therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and/or students as needed
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Missouri Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
    • Minimum of 1 year of OT experience required; new graduates considered with completed Level II fieldwork experience
    • Long-term care (LTC) or rehabilitation setting experience required
    • Adherence to NBCOT, AOTA, and Missouri state practice acts, code of conduct, and professional ethics
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience utilizing standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to guide clinical interventions
    • Familiarity with electronic documentation systems and regulatory compliance in a skilled nursing or LTC environment
