    Key Responsibilities
    • Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in alignment with patient needs, goals, and physician direction.
    • Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines.
    • Design functional treatment programs focused on progressing patients toward discharge and effective return to community activities.
    • Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers; participate in student programs by providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations.
    • Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and all applicable regulatory requirements; maintain professional licensure in good standing and fulfill all continuing education requirements.
    • Actively participate in professional development planning and performance improvement initiatives to support quality of care and organizational objectives.
    Required Qualifications
    • Active and unrestricted Occupational Therapist licensure in the state of Florida.
    • Hand therapy experience required.
    • Ability to evaluate patients and develop clinically appropriate treatment plans using sound clinical reasoning.
    • Proficiency in medical record documentation in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines.
    • Knowledge of and adherence to discipline-specific professional codes of conduct and applicable State Practice Acts.
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential or demonstrated advanced experience in hand therapy.
    • Experience in an outpatient therapy setting with a focus on functional rehabilitation and return to community activities.
    • Familiarity with performance improvement methodologies and quality initiatives within a clinical environment.
