Contract | Full-Time | Days | Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts | No call, no weekends
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and lead a minimum of 2 structured group therapy sessions per day
- Conduct individual (1:1) therapy sessions as clinically needed
- Administer cognitive assessments when ordered, including MoCA (Montreal Cognitive Assessment), SLUMS (St. Louis University Mental Status Exam), and CPT (Cognitive Performance Testing)
- Document patient care and progress using EPIC electronic health records
- Apply activity analysis and adaptation techniques within a behavioral health setting
Required Qualifications
- Active OTR/L licensure in the state of Minnesota
- Active BLS certification — American Heart Association (AHA) required
- Experience in a behavioral health or psychiatric therapy setting
- Demonstrated experience with cognitive testing: MoCA, SLUMS, and CPT
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
- Must live more than 80 miles from the facility to be eligible for standard contract rates
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Strong active listening and communication skills
- Knowledge of group therapy techniques and psychological principles
- Ability to adapt and remain flexible within a dynamic behavioral health environment
