Contract | Days, schedule varies | Work week: Sunday through Saturday | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services across both a skilled nursing facility (SNF) and home health (HH) settings, approximately 50/50 split
- Supervise one Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Utilize HCHB software for home health documentation and NetHealth software for SNF documentation
- Meet productivity expectations of 80% in the SNF setting; home health productivity is based on a points system
- Collaborate with an onsite therapy supervisor to support patient care and clinical operations
Required Qualifications
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of Nebraska or ability to obtain prior to start
- Must reside at least 80 miles from the facility to be eligible for standard contract rates
- Ability to work across both SNF and home health care settings
- Comfortable with electronic documentation platforms
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility or home health environment
- Experience supervising or mentoring COTAs or therapy support staff
- Familiarity with HCHB and/or NetHealth documentation systems
