Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy evaluation and treatment to patients with traumatic brain injuries within an inpatient rehabilitation setting
- Manage a caseload consistent with an average daily census of approximately 44 patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Float to like units as needed based on facility staffing requirements
- Participate in weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of occupational therapy experience required
- CVA (cerebrovascular accident) experience required
- Active Maryland Occupational Therapist state license required at time of submission
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association only) required
- Must be comfortable floating to like units within scope with no restrictions
- Candidates must reside 50 or more miles from the facility (locals under 50 miles are not accepted unless otherwise specified)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working with traumatic brain injury populations in an inpatient or rehabilitation setting
- First-time travel therapists are welcome to apply
- CPI certification (Calm Every Storm online version accepted) preferred for compliance purposes
