Key Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist- Conduct evaluations and provide individualized treatment interventions
- Participate in team conferences and utilize modalities if able to perform
- Perform documentation and utilize computerized charting systems
- Manage a high-volume caseload with the ability to reschedule and prioritize
- Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team for patient safety and comfort
- Supervise certified occupational therapist assistants, aides, and students when necessary
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist- BLS Certification
- Occupational Therapist license
- Experience in acute care settings
