Key Responsibilities of the Acute Care Staff Occupational Therapist- Evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic, neurological, and general medical disorders
- Conduct evaluations, treatment interventions, and team conferences
- Utilize computerized charting systems (EPIC) effectively
- Manage a dynamic schedule and high-volume caseload
- Communicate with interdisciplinary teams for effective patient care
- Adapt treatment plans based on clinical assessments and patient needs
- Supervise certified occupational therapist assistants, aides, and students
Requirements of the Acute Care Staff Occupational Therapist- Valid Occupational Therapist license
- BLS Certification
- Experience in acute care settings
