Est. pay Gross
$57 - $71 p/h (blended, taxable + tax-free stipend)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Evaluate patients' functional status and develop individualized treatment plans per physician orders and the Texas OT practice act
- Deliver therapeutic interventions targeting ADLs, fine motor, cognitive-perceptual, and functional mobility goals
- Complete Medicare-required evaluations, certifications/recertifications, and progress notes in the EMR
- Collaborate with nursing, PT, SLP, and case management on interdisciplinary care and discharge planning
- Recommend adaptive equipment and home/environmental modifications as needed
- Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and comply with facility infection-control protocols
REQUIREMENTS
Must-Have
- Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program; NBCOT certification
- Active Texas OT license (or compact/state license eligibility)
- Current BLS/CPR certification (AHA or ARC)
- Minimum 1 2 years OT experience (skilled nursing/rehab preferred)
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Geriatric or rehab clinical specialty
- Experience with SNF EMR/PointClickCare
