The goal is to restore and improve physical, social, and mental functions while meeting department objectives. As a co-leader in an interdisciplinary approach, the therapist will work with patient groups. Evaluations will be completed to ensure quality standards are met and assessment areas addressed. Appropriate clinical techniques and tools will be used to establish individualized treatment plans for patients. Therapeutic interventions will be provided using suitable treatment protocols and techniques. Individualized care and discharge plans will be established and communicated to the appropriate parties. Comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation will be completed within established deadlines. Supervision of assigned assistants will be part of the responsibilities. Other job-related duties may be assigned as required. Commitment to the safety and wellbeing of associates and patients is essential. Vaccinations may be required as a condition of employment, with possible medical and religious exemptions. The facility participates in E-Verify. All areas are staffed seven days a week. A cafeteria is on-site, and department training will be provided during the first week after hospital orientation. Hunter green scrubs are required (either the top or bottoms, or both).
