Key Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist- Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents to develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.
- Monitor and document resident progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary.
- Educate residents and their families on therapeutic techniques and home care strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist- Current state Occupational Therapist license
- Experience in Long Term Care settings preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
