Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
- Assess physical, cognitive, and functional limitations impacting daily living.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve independence and safety.
- Train patients in activities of daily living (ADLs) and adaptive techniques.
- Recommend and educate patients on assistive devices and adaptive equipment.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy goals and home programs.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Adhere to professional, ethical, and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) License required.
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Current BLS Certification preferred.
- Strong assessment, treatment planning, and clinical decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Previous rehabilitation, skilled nursing, post-acute care, or outpatient experience preferred.
