Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) for a 14-week assignment. The ideal candidate will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions to help patients regain independence and improve their ability to perform daily activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and functional abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy goals and home exercise programs.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with professional, ethical, and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) License required.
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Current BLS certification preferred.
- Strong assessment, treatment planning, and patient care skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Previous rehabilitation, hospital, skilled nursing, or post-acute care experience preferred.
