Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions that help improve functional independence, mobility, and overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and functional abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy goals and home exercise programs.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with professional, ethical, and regulatory standards.
- Promote patient safety and quality care throughout the rehabilitation process.
Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) License required.
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Current BLS certification preferred.
- Strong assessment, treatment planning, and patient care skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Previous rehabilitation, skilled nursing, post-acute care, or healthcare experience preferred.
