Seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) for a contract opportunity in a rehabilitation and skilled nursing setting. SHIFT DETAILS

GUARANTEED HOURS & PAY
  • Guaranteed Hours: 35 Hours Per Week
  • Pay Rate: $57.00 - $66.50 per hour
REQUIREMENTS
  • Active Occupational Therapist (OT) License in good standing
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Current NBCOT certification preferred
  • Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
  • Previous experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, acute care, home health, or outpatient settings preferred
  • Strong evaluation, treatment planning, and documentation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and positive clinical outcomes
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
  • Assess physical, cognitive, sensory, and functional abilities
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living (ADLs)
  • Train patients in adaptive techniques and the use of assistive devices
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding therapy goals and home programs
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and patient progress reviews
  • Ensure compliance with professional standards, facility policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Promote patient safety, independence, and overall quality of life
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • Guaranteed 35 hours per week
  • Competitive pay rate of $57.00 - $66.50 per hour
