The patient population includes adults and geriatrics with a variety of diagnoses. Common diagnoses include general surgery, orthopedic surgery, hip fractures, and dementia. The focus is on assessments and treatment related to activities of daily living (ADLs) and upper extremities. Special emphasis is placed on achieving functional outcomes for patients. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities as needed. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment. Candidates are required to submit two references covering one year of experience prior to the start. All requested time off must be included during the initial submission process. Inflexibility regarding the contracted schedule may lead to contract termination.
