Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans upon physician referral to restore maximum function to physically and/or mentally disabled patients
  • Select, perform, and/or direct assistance in educational, vocational, and recreational therapeutic activities
  • Collaborate with family members and health team members regarding patient abilities and goals
  • Apply knowledge of occupational therapy as it relates to physical disability, rehabilitation, general medicine, surgical, and mental health concepts
  • Provide occupational therapy services across both inpatient and outpatient settings, including pediatric populations
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from a college or university accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association
  • Oregon OT license required or eligibility for Oregon state licensure (licensure pending candidates will be considered)
  • Current CPR certification required
  • Experience working with pediatric populations
  • Strong communication skills and ability to function effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • New graduates with relevant clinical experience will be considered
  • Experience in physical disability and rehabilitation settings
  • Familiarity with general medicine, surgical, and mental health patient populations
