Occupational Therapist (OT) — School-Based

Shift Hours: 7:55 AM – 3:14 PM | Monday – Friday

Position Overview
  • Full-time, itinerant school-based Occupational Therapist position for the 2026–2027 school year
  • Serves approximately 34–45 students across multiple grade levels
  • Travel between three school sites (specific school assignments are still being finalized)
  • Services include evaluations, direct therapy, consultation, and student support
Assignment Details
  • School Year: 2026–2027
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday
  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Assignment: Itinerant between three school sites (TBD)
  • Caseload: Approximately 34–45 students
  • Grade Levels: Multiple grade levels
Responsibilities
  • Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments
  • Develop and implement therapy services in accordance with student IEPs
  • Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services in the school setting
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, related service providers, administrators, and families
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration
  • Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal special education regulations
Qualifications
  • Active Wisconsin Occupational Therapist license, or ability to obtain licensure prior to the start of the assignment
  • School-based or pediatric experience is preferred but not required
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to travel between assigned school sites
