Seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) for a contract opportunity in a rehabilitation and skilled nursing setting. GUARANTEED HOURS & PAY
- Guaranteed Hours: 35 Hours Per Week
- Pay Rate: $54.00 - $63.00 per hour
REQUIREMENTS
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) License in good standing
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current NBCOT certification preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Previous experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, outpatient, home health, or acute care settings preferred
- Strong evaluation, treatment planning, and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
- Assess physical, cognitive, sensory, and functional abilities
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Train patients in adaptive techniques and the use of assistive equipment
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding therapy goals and home exercise programs
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and patient progress reviews
- Ensure compliance with professional standards, facility policies, and regulatory requirements
- Promote patient safety, independence, and overall quality of life
