Job Opportunity – Occupational Therapist – Apple Valley, CA 92307
Start Date: October 6, 2026
Location: Apple Valley, California
Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 - 16:30). Schedule options include Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday. Weekend blocks also available. Must be open to working a weekend shift.
Highlights:- 13-week travel assignment at a 212-bed acute care hospital
- Evaluate and treat general acute care patients with diverse diagnoses including orthopedic surgery, hip fractures, dementia, and ADL deficits
- Focus on functional outcomes with emphasis on ADL and upper extremity assessments
- Epic charting system utilized; experience preferred
- Free parking available on-site
- Flexible scheduling options with potential for block schedules per manager discretion
Requirements:- Active California Occupational Therapy license (Compact license must be in hand at submission)
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of occupational therapy experience required
- First-time travelers accepted
- Experience with acute care settings and adaptive equipment
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
- Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
