The unit provides care in a level II trauma center with 205 beds. The team consists of 20 physical therapists and 12 occupational therapists. Staff on day shift work Tuesday through Saturday from 8 AM to 5 PM. The patient ratio is typically 12 patients per day. Standard equipment for rehab services is used. EMR utilized is Meditech. Candidates must demonstrate a high level of accountability and the ability to work autonomously. Experience with complex trauma and neuro patients is preferred. Typical procedures on this unit focus on standard mobility and activities of daily living (ADL). Weekend shifts will be required, covering one Saturday or Sunday per week while on contract.
