Seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) for a contract opportunity in a rehabilitation setting. GUARANTEED HOURS & PAY
- Guaranteed Hours: 35 Hours Per Week
- Pay Rate:$48.00 - $56.00 per hour
REQUIREMENTS
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) License in good standing
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Previous experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, outpatient, acute care, or home health settings preferred
- Strong evaluation, treatment planning, and clinical decision-making skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Commitment to patient-centered care and positive rehabilitation outcomes
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans
- Assess physical, cognitive, and psychosocial barriers impacting daily function
- Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions
- Assist patients in improving activities of daily living (ADLs) and functional independence
- Recommend and educate patients on adaptive equipment and assistive devices
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
- Educate patients and caregivers regarding therapy techniques and home exercise programs
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and discharge planning activities
- Promote patient safety, independence, and quality of life
