Seeking a skilled and compassionate Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) for a contract opportunity in the Wichita Falls, Texas. REQUIREMENTS
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) License in good standing
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current NBCOT certification preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Previous experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, acute care, outpatient, or home health settings preferred
- Strong evaluation, treatment planning, and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Travel experience preferred but not required
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
- Assess physical, cognitive, sensory, and functional abilities
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living (ADLs) and functional independence
- Provide mobility, self-care, and adaptive equipment training
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment plans and home programs
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals
- Ensure compliance with facility policies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements
- Promote patient safety, independence, and overall quality of life
