Key Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist Assistant- Assist the occupational therapist in the implementation of rehabilitation programs.
- Conduct therapeutic exercises and activities under supervision.
- Observe and document patient progress and communicate it to the occupational therapist.
- Maintain equipment and ensure a clean treatment area.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist Assistant- Accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant certification/license
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred
