Job Summary
Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP) The organization is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to deliver direct patient care and consultation services within an inpatient setting. The position involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients according to established standards and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Schedule: 4-10 hour shifts per week, rotating schedule, including weekend rotation.
- Education: Master's degree in occupational therapy required; Doctorate degree preferred.
- Licensure and Certification: Current license in the state of practice, Occupational Therapist License, and Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers required. Certified Occupational Therapist through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience required, with previous inpatient rehabilitation (IRF) experience preferred.
- Skills: EPIC electronic medical record (EMR), patient assessment, treatment planning, caregiver education, quality improvement, clinical documentation, billing and charge recording, interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
