Description

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an Inpatient Rehab unit, requiring 1+ year of experience and BLS certification.

Details

  • Inpatient Rehabilitation unit setting
  • Patient population includes lymphedema, pediatric, and geriatric cases
  • 1:1 patient ratio
  • Day shift schedule with options of 5x8-hour shifts (7:30-16:00) or 4x10-hour shifts (7:30-18:00)

Requirements

  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience required
  • Experience with any charting system required
  • Community hospital experience preferred
  • CPSI charting experience preferred
  • License required if applicable

Additional Information

  • Responsibilities include patient assessment, evaluation, plan of care development, reassessments, and discharge planning
  • Skills include lifting and transfer, patient/family education, and safety and injury prevention
  • Preferred experience includes lymphedema management, splinting, adaptive equipment assessment, and orthopedic rehabilitation programs
  • First-time travelers accepted
  • Local candidates accepted
  • Holiday RTO restrictions apply during Christmas and New Year's
  • RTO must be submitted with initial profile
