Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients with conditions that affect their ability to perform functional activities in daily life within an inpatient rehabilitation setting
• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans aimed at restoring function, improving mobility, and preventing disability
• Provide direct patient care in an inpatient hospital environment, adapting interventions to meet each patient's rehabilitation goals
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment approaches as clinically appropriate
• Maintain active state licensure as required for practice in the state of Missouri

Required Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of Missouri, or eligibility to obtain prior to start date
• Minimum of 2 years of occupational therapy experience
• Experience in an inpatient rehabilitation or acute care setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) setting
• Familiarity with functional activity assessments and rehabilitation goal-setting in an acute rehab environment
