Contract | Travel | Days | 13-Week Assignment | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized occupational therapy services to patients in an inpatient acute rehabilitation setting
  • Treat patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, spinal cord injury, amputation, trauma, and orthopedic injury
  • Develop and implement customized treatment plans aimed at maximizing patient independence and quality of life
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to support patients throughout their recovery journey
  • Document patient progress and adjust treatment approaches in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

  • Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license valid in the state of Texas
  • National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification required
  • Minimum of 2 years of occupational therapy experience
  • Experience in an inpatient rehabilitation or acute care setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Prior experience in an Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) environment
  • Experience treating neurological, orthopedic, and spinal cord injury populations
  • Familiarity with IRF documentation and compliance requirements
