Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Cheyenne, Wyoming! This opportunity offers a varied caseload across acute care and inpatient rehabilitation, working with adult patients with diverse medical, orthopedic, neurological, and traumatic conditions.

Clinical Experience & Responsibilities

• Treat approximately 8–12 patients per day.
• Float between acute care and inpatient rehabilitation.
• Evaluate and treat adult patients with conditions including:
  • Total hip and knee replacements and back surgeries
  • Stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), and neurological conditions
  • Hip fractures and traumatic injuries
  • General medical, cardiac, and orthopedic conditions
  • Multiple sclerosis (MS) and cancer
• Complete emergency department evaluations to help determine discharge or admission needs.

Requirements

• Active Wyoming Occupational Therapist license
• Current BLS certification

• Previous acute care and/or inpatient rehabilitation experience; experience in both settings is preferred.

   

Schedule & Additional Details

• Choose between five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts, depending on department needs.
• Day shift starting at 7:30 AM.
• Schedule determined by the manager; flexibility is essential.
• Floating day off may apply.
• Ceil blue scrubs required.
• Orientation includes two shadowing days, followed by 2–3 days with a partial caseload.
