Job Summary

Occupational Therapist Inpatient, Akron. The Occupational Therapist evaluates patients, develops individualized treatment plans, and administers occupational therapy interventions in accordance with applicable standards and regulations. The role collaborates with interdisciplinary care teams, supports discharge planning, provides patient and family education, and promotes safe, effective, patient-centered care.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid, current state occupational therapy license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Additional Information: Assesses patient functioning, completes evaluations and clinical documentation, implements individualized treatment plans, participates in interdisciplinary team conferences, supports discharge planning, provides adaptive equipment education, and supervises Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and occupational therapy students. Maintains patient confidentiality and adheres to safety, quality improvement, attendance, and professional conduct standards.
