Job Summary
Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP) position located in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing evaluation and treatment for general acute care inpatients with various diagnoses, focusing primarily on activities of daily living (ADL) and upper extremity assessments with an emphasis on functional outcomes. The position offers a consistent schedule with shifts averaging 8 hours, commencing on 10/06/2026 and ending on 01/05/2027.
Job Details
- Schedule: 8-hour daily shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting 10/06/2026 and ending 01/05/2027.
- Required Qualifications: 1 year of occupational therapy experience; valid state license in California with a compact license in hand at submission; BLS certification; open to first-time travelers; candidates must be open to working a block schedule and potentially working during holidays.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with inpatient settings and acute care hospitals.
- Additional Information: This position involves evaluation and treatment of general acute care patients, including those with general surgery, ortho surgery, hip fractures, dementia, and deficits in activities of daily living due to various reasons. Primary focus areas include ADL and upper extremity assessments aimed at functional outcomes. Candidates may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Submission must include response to whether the candidate has ever worked at a Providence facility and provide two references covering at least one year within the past three years.
