Description

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a Home Health position requiring OASIS and HCHB experience along with a minimum of 1 year of recent experience.

Details

  • Home health setting serving the North Napa Valley area
  • Monday through Friday day shift schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Geriatric patient population
  • Average caseload of 5-7 patients per day with 6 visits daily
  • Minimum productivity requirement of 30 points weekly
  • No weekend work required
  • No on-call requirement per job posting, though on-call rotation may be discussed during interview
  • Territory covers up to a 60-mile radius from the hub office

Requirements

  • Current OT license required (if applicable)
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant, recent experience required
  • OASIS experience required for completing Start of Care assessments
  • Proficiency in HCHB (Homecare Homebase) EMR required
  • Active driver's license and personal transportation required
  • License must be in-hand at time of consideration

Additional Information

  • Provide home health occupational therapy services to a geriatric patient population
  • Timely documentation and communication with the care team required
  • Scrubs required for dress code, any color, no jeans permitted
  • iPad provided for documentation purposes
  • Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
  • Local candidates accepted at the travel rate
  • First-time travelers considered for this position
  • Travel pairs accepted, though each traveler will be assigned their own territory and must have independent transportation
  • Traveler expected to remain flexible with assigned territory
  • Former permanent employees must be separated for a minimum of 6 months and approved by HR before returning as a traveler
  • Requested time off must be submitted at the time of application
  • Orientation held on Mondays and includes completion of required training modules
