Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist (OT) Home Health position in Dover, Delaware. This temporary assignment involves providing clinical occupational therapy services in a home health setting, with a focus on evaluating patient needs, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions in accordance with state and facility guidelines. The role requires collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Dayshift, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Successful completion of an occupational therapy program approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association or equivalent, current and unencumbered license to practice occupational therapy specific to the state, 2-3 years of occupational therapy experience preferred, current CPR certification, and familiarity with general computer functions, internet, email, and online HR and training platforms.
- Additional Information: The position involves performing patient evaluations and delivering therapeutic services according to physician orders, assisting in developing and updating care plans, and providing education to clients and family members. Candidates must have reliable transportation, a current drivers license, and agency-required liability insurance. The assignment will require travel within the designated territory, with variable weekly mileage, and a minimum productivity expectation of 30 points. The electronic medical record system used is HCHB.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
