Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with home health experience for a 13-week home care assignment serving multiple counties in Illinois.

Details

  • Home health / home care setting
  • Primary service areas include Clark, Edgar, Effingham, Champaign, and Madison Counties
  • Day shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • 8-hour shifts
  • Caseload of approximately 8 patients per day
  • Productivity expectation of a minimum 6.5 points per hour, typically 3–4 evaluations per day
  • Patient population is primarily post-acute
  • Clinician manages and self-schedules their own daily visit schedule
  • No weekend or holiday requirements
  • Computerized charting system used (specific EMR not listed)

Requirements

  • Active state OT license required at time of consideration; pending licenses will not be accepted — license required if applicable
  • Minimum 1 year of OT experience required
  • Home health experience required
  • Home Care Home Base (HCHB) experience required
  • Current BLS certification (AHA) required; pending certifications not accepted
  • CPR certification required
  • Valid driver's license required

Additional Information

  • Provide occupational therapy services to post-acute patients in their homes across the assigned service counties
  • Responsible for supervising 1 COTA on staff
  • Profiles are sent directly to the hiring manager for interview; no clinical screening interview
  • 2 professional references required for consideration: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both must include dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
