Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Assistant Outpatient position located in Overland Park, Kansas. This role involves providing occupational therapy services for inpatient rehabilitation patients across various units within the facility. It features a flexible, float position requiring experience in inpatient rehab and an emphasis on teamwork and technological integration to enhance patient care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Occupational Therapy Assisting, valid state license, at least 3 years of experience in outpatient or inpatient rehabilitation settings, and current BLS certification
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with inpatient rehabilitation, familiarity with occupational therapy evaluations and treatments, and proficiency with equipment such as Hoyer lifts, EZ Stand, and BITS
- Float: Float rotation may be required to support all units within the facility
- Additional Information: This is a short-term contract position supporting a growing inpatient rehab team, which has received recent awards for excellence and incorporates new equipment. The facility fosters a collaborative team culture with a focus on advanced technology and staff development.
