This inpatient rehabilitation facility is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist Assistant to support patient recovery efforts focused on neuro, orthopedic, debility, and cardiac conditions. The role involves delivering patient-centered care to a diverse population, emphasizing teamwork and communication.
Job Details
- Position Description: Support inpatient rehabilitation services for patients recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopedic injuries, and other conditions within a dedicated rehabilitation hospital environment. The role involves working with specialized equipment such as EKSO and InMotion UE Robotic, and supporting a patient population including geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients (no younger than 13).
- Required Qualifications: Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) licensure or certification as appropriate, 2 years of experience, and inpatient rehabilitation experience.
- Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The position requires strong teamwork, communication, work ethic, and sense of responsibility to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Applicants should report by 7:30 a.m. to the specified location and inquire with the designated contact upon arrival.
