Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist (OT) specializing in Inpatient care is needed in a healthcare setting. This position requires an immediate start date, with shifts scheduled during daytime hours. The role involves providing occupational therapy services to neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) patients at a facility with 21 beds, following established clinical protocols and ensuring optimal patient care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certification and licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Texas, current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC); at least 2 years of experience with a focus on neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) patients; ability to work in solid color scrubs; authorized to work more than 50 miles from the facility; ability to see patients 3-5 times per week in NICU setting
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in NICU occupational therapy is preferred
- Additional Information: The position is for coverage due to leave; all submissions must include a permanent home address and social security number; travelers must meet distance requirements from the facility to be considered
