Description

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of experience for an acute and outpatient rehabilitation program in a hospital setting.

Details

  • Inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation therapy setting within an acute care hospital
  • Coverage includes both Rehab and Acute Rehab units
  • Day shift schedule Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
  • EMR systems used include Net Health Therapy and Meditech

Requirements

  • Current Occupational Therapist license required, Hawaii license required if applicable
  • BLS certification from the American Red Cross required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with adults in outpatient and acute settings

Additional Information

  • Evaluate and re-evaluate assigned patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings
  • Plan and implement ongoing therapeutic programs as prescribed by the ordering physician
  • Regularly update treatment plans and home exercise programs
  • Independently manage a full caseload and determine need for re-evaluations based on insurance authorization
  • Must be available to work Hawaii State and Federal holidays as necessary based on hospital operations
