Description

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of recent inpatient acute care experience for an 8-hour day shift assignment serving adult and geriatric patients.

Details

  • Acute care hospital setting within the Occupational Therapy unit
  • Patient population includes adult and geriatric cases
  • 8-hour day shift, Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • 40 hours per week over a 14-week assignment
  • ARU/IPR and acute care experience preferred given the team's caseload

Requirements

  • Current, active California OT license required (license required if applicable)
  • Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient OT experience in an acute care facility required
  • EPIC EMR experience strongly preferred
  • Previous travel assignment experience preferred

Additional Information

  • Work as part of a team handling diverse adult and geriatric caseloads in both ARU/IPR and acute care settings
  • Clinical references required covering the last two places of employment, including one from a leadership role such as a nurse manager
  • Previous employment history for the past 7 years required, including explanations for any gaps over 30 days
  • Current skills checklist required, valid for one year
