Navitas Healthcare is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a travel job in Walla Walla, Washington.
Duties & Responsibilities
Evaluate and treat adult and geriatric patients in an acute care setting.
Provide OT services across Acute Care, Medical, ICU, Surgery, and Inpatient Rehab areas.
Assess acute and chronic conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans.
Assist patients with functional activities, rehabilitation, and activities of daily living.
Treat a variety of diagnoses including trauma, stroke/CVA, spinal cord injury, orthopedic and surgical conditions, Parkinson’s disease, MS, and other complex conditions.
Perform functional splinting and use appropriate orthotic/prosthetic techniques.
Work collaboratively with OT/COTA and interdisciplinary teams.
Manage caseload efficiently and maintain required productivity standards.
Demonstrate strong time management, flexibility, independence, and teamwork.
License & Requirements
Washington State OT License – Required and must be in hand
Minimum 1 year of OT experience – Required
Acute Care experience – Required
Inpatient Rehab (IPR) experience is preferred.
Epic charting experience preferred.
Experience with edema massage, kinesiotaping, functional splints, orthoplast, and static splints preferred.
