Description

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an Inpatient Rehabilitation Therapy unit requiring 1+ year of experience and a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.

Details

  • Inpatient Rehabilitation Therapy unit setting
  • 4-10 hour day shifts on a rotating schedule, 36 hours per week
  • May include weekend rotations
  • No on-call requirements
  • Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy required, Doctorate preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of experience required
  • Previous Inpatient Rehab Facility (IRF) experience preferred
  • Active state Occupational Therapy license required (license required if applicable)
  • BLS certification required (AHA, must not expire prior to start)
  • NBCOT certification preferred
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, pushing/pulling, standing, walking, and manual dexterity
  • Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Provide direct patient care including assessment, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning
  • Deliver indirect services such as consulting, advising, and training patients and caregivers
  • Maintain clinical documentation including chart notes, evaluations, progress reports, and discharge summaries
  • Record daily charges according to department billing guidelines
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical meetings
  • Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary care team
  • May supervise or train COTAs, aides, and students
  • Returning Intermountain employees must be separated from the facility for at least one year before eligibility for a travel assignment
